Chatura Randeniya has over 16 years of experience in advising clients on contentious matters in the UAE, and is a practitioner ranked by both Chambers and Partners and Legal 500. He has a strong focus on high-value commercial disputes and also provides counsel in maritime, banking, and employment disputes, many of which involve complex cross-border issues. Chatura also sits as an arbitrator. He is a regular contributor to texts on dispute resolution in the UAE and is recognized for his pro bono work, particularly with young families and children. Chatura joined Afridi & Angell in 2008 shortly after completing his post-graduate studies at Harvard Law School under a Fulbright Scholarship. He is a partner in the dispute resolution practice of Afridi & Angell since 2017.
