Yazid is a regulatory projects expert, having spent over eight years working in the legal departments of government bodies, particularly focused on the energy sector.

Yazid joined the firm at the beginning of 2022. Prior to joining Z&Co., Yazid served as Senior Legal Counsel to H.R.H. the Minister of Energy, entailing deep knowledge of the legal, regulatory and governance framework for all aspects of regulatory projects and drafting.

Yazid combines his regulatory experience with a full understanding of corporate and companies law issues, across KSA and Western jurisdictions, building from his private practice experience in Saudi along with his UK-based legal education.
