Marina is Senior Associate in the London office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan. She specialises in complex international litigation and arbitration, with an emphasis on civil fraud, asset tracing, and joint venture and shareholder disputes. She regularly advises on cross-border proceedings, particularly involving offshore jurisdictions, the CIS and Africa. Marina’s experience includes advising clients on jurisdiction issues, anti-suit injunctions, and obtaining and resisting pre-and post-judgment asset freezing relief in the English, Cyprus and BVI courts. She has represented multinational clients, high net worth individuals and sovereign governments in cases arising across a range of sectors, including telecommunications, energy and natural resources, pharmaceuticals and financial services.
Marina’s arbitration experience includes acting on arbitrations under the UNCITRAL, ICSID, SCC, LCIA and ICC Rules.
The 2020 and 2021 editions of Legal 500 UK recognised Marina as a key lawyer in the “Civil Fraud” practice area. She is fluent in English, French, Russian, Dutch and Hebrew. She also speaks basic Georgian.
