Cory Bell is a transformative business leader, developer, and mentor whose vision has reshaped Atlantic Canada’s construction landscape. As CEO, President, and co-owner of Lindsay Construction, he has led the company’s evolution into the region’s premier builder, delivering complex multi-residential, institutional, and net-zero developments that set new standards for sustainability and innovation.

A strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, Cory has championed a people-first culture while driving growth and operational excellence across every facet of the business. Beyond Lindsay, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Halifax’s economic future as Chair of the Halifax Partnership, leading the city’s “People, Planet, Prosperity” growth strategy and supporting recovery efforts post-COVID.

He is Chair of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, a previous board member of the IWK Foundation and has long supported and served in fundraising leadership roles for causes such as Chisholm House, Arthritis Society, the United Way and Habitat for Humanity. A passionate advocate for cancer research, Cory co-founded the Trailblazer for Cancer fundraiser in 2014, raising over $1.4M to date.
