Jeremy Schwartz is the Economic Development & Strategic Priorities Lead with the City of Mount Pearl, the second largest city in Newfoundland and Labrador. With over 10 years’ experience in business and community development, Jeremy has lead strategic growth initiatives, foreign direct investment strategies, and development plans for the City of Mount Pearl and received numerous awards in Economic Development on the local, national, and international stage for the results-driven success. In 2020, Jeremy was recognized as one of the top 30 under 30 Atlantic Canadian Innovators by Atlantic Business Magazine for the innovative approach he brings to growing communities. Jeremy also holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a Certificate in Economic Development through the University of Waterloo, and sits on the Board of Directors for the Economic Developers Association of Newfoundland and Labrador.
