Joe Metlege is the President & CEO of Templeton Properties, a Canadian-owned, family-operated real estate company headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Under his leadership, Templeton has become one of the city’s most respected multifamily owner-operators, managing over 1,300 apartment units across Halifax, including landmark assets such as The Vuze, Koda, and Trinity Apartments.

A lifelong entrepreneur and community-builder, Joe also leads JONO Developments and M & N Developments, overseeing new-build and redevelopment projects across Halifax’s urban core. His work spans the full spectrum of the property lifecycle—from acquisition and design to construction, financing, and long-term operations. Known for his hands-on approach, strategic discipline, and results-driven leadership, Joe has earned a reputation for combining old-school accountability with forward-thinking innovation.

In addition to his development and investment ventures, Joe is owner of the Moxy Hotel Halifax, the first Marriott Moxy in Canada, extending his vision for modern living into hospitality.
