Kelvin Ndoro is Atlantic Canada's Lead Economist with the Housing Economics and Insights team at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). With over 15 years of experience in the public sector, Kelvin is widely recognized for his expertise in housing economics in the region.

At CMHC, Kelvin works with a national team to analyze housing market dynamics and affordability challenges, contributing to evidence-based policy and strategic planning. His insights have been featured in CMHC’s Housing Market Outlook, Rental Market Reports, and flagship publications that inform housing policy across Canada. He is a regular media contributor and has been quoted in national outlets discussing housing trends, affordability, and supply constraints. He is also a frequent speaker at housing industry events.

Prior to joining CMHC, Kelvin served as a Senior Economist with Nova Scotia’s Department of Labour and Advanced Education, focusing on labour markets and economic development.

With his professional experience and an educational background in Business and Economics, Kelvin brings a data-driven, policy-aware perspective to housing conversations, that is grounded in a strong understanding of market forces, public finance, and economic development.
