Pierre Dupuis was appointed General Manager of Moncton Industrial Development (MID) in May 2014. Under his leadership, the industrial parks have thrived and grown exponentially with numerous global companies now calling Moncton home. Pierre’s industrial real estate expertise helps companies find ideal locations so they can thrive.

Before his appointment at MID, Dupuis managed Expansion Dieppe, the City of Dieppe’s economic development corporation. Pierre has held various positions in economic development and flexed his entrepreneurial muscles by running his own businesses. Upon completing his undergraduate degree in 1989, Pierre began his career as a planning/development officer. Following graduate studies in public administration and urban and rural planning, Pierre worked in both public and private sector organizations across Atlantic Canada.

Pierre has a BA with a major in Geography and Business Administration, as well as a Master of Public Administration Degree from the Université de Moncton (U de M), and a Master of Urban and Rural Planning from the Technical University of NS (TUNS).
