Anna Omarini is a Tenured Researcher and Professor of Bank, Fintech and Digital Transformation at Bocconi University's Department of Finance. With over 30 years of experience in banking and financial services research, her work focuses on bank strategy and business models, digital banking transformation, FinTech, payment innovation, and open banking and open finance.

Anna is also a Senior Professor at SDA Bocconi School of Management.

Beyond academia, she has been bringing governance expertise as an independent Board Member in banks, financial institutions and tech companies.

She also serves on the editorial boards of several international academic journals in her fields of expertise.

She has authored numerous books, articles, and papers on banking strategy and FinTech, and has spoken at various international conferences.
