Dharshan Shanthamurthy is the Founder and CEO of SISA, a rapidly growing deep tech cybersecurity company that plays a critical role in safeguarding the world’s digital payment infrastructure and ecosystem.

A Chartered Accountant by qualification, he made a bold transition into the world of cybersecurity two decades ago and is now widely recognized as a trailblazer in the industry. Trained at the US-CERT Coordination Centre, Dharshan is India’s leading payment data security specialist and brings rich investigative and audit experience to the community. He is one of the first PCI Assessors in India and a Core Payment Forensic Investigator of the PCI Security Standards Council and has been a lead contributor for PCI Standards and a volunteer for UPI and Aadhaar.

Dharshan holds over 20 global cybersecurity certifications and was among the first Indians trained at the prestigious US-CERT Coordination Centre. As one of India’s earliest cyber security assessors and digital forensic investigators, Dharshan brings a rare combination of business acumen and deep technical expertise to the table. Under his leadership, SISA has helped customers transform decades of forensic intelligence into real-time decision-making.

Dharshan has also led several pioneering efforts - including India’s Digital Threat Report and the Quantum Cyber Readiness Whitepaper in collaboration with CERT-In, the Government of India’s nodal cybersecurity agency.
