Gaurav has 27 years of experience across various roles in the financial services sector, technology, and consulting. Currently he is working as APAC Advisory Partner for a global tech firm based in Hong Kong, and prior to this he was a Senior FS Partner with a Big4s. He has worked on a range of areas including AI led transformations, strategic consulting, front to back transformation, GenAI/ML, predictive analytics, shared services design/transformation, target operating model, design thinking, lean process re-engineering, digital & emerging technologies, embedded finance, workforce transformation, payments ecosystems, cards/wallets, cost optimization, operationalising regulations, and customer journey/lifecycle management.

Gaurav has worked across multiple countries (including US, UK, EU, HK & SEA markets) covering an array of Banking, Payments and Insurance companies, and a majority of this experience has been in transforming and setting up functions/processes, AI led transformations and strategic cost reduction. He has also led the design/setup of captive offshore operations and has advised over 15 shared services entities in their journey from inception to maturity.
