George, Head of the Innovation Center at Eurobank Greece, has been at the forefront of Digital Innovation and Transformation for over 24 years. With extensive experience across Financial Institutions, Banks, Large Enterprises, and the Public Sector in Greece and the EMEA region, he has consistently led groundbreaking projects and strategic initiatives.
As a thought leader in emerging technologies, George serves on the Advisory Board of Harvard Business Review and is a founding member and Board Director of the Hellenic Blockchain Hub (HBH). He was the first Certified Blockchain Professional (CBP) by the IIB Council in Greece and is the country’s Ambassador for the Global Blockchain Business Council. His expertise in blockchain and disruptive technologies has made him a highly sought-after speaker, mentor, and consultant.
In addition to his industry roles, George is a Senior Practice Associate at Nottingham Business School (Nottingham Trent University) and a mentor for numerous start-ups. His international speaking engagements on Fintech and Digital Transformation topics span global universities, and he is a guest lecturer at various academic institutions.
George holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Hellenic American University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ALBA Graduate Business School, and an Executive Education Certificate in Strategy and Digital Transformation from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.
