Jason Cain is Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of ShiftMate, where he serves as the company’s Visionary—setting the long-range direction for an open, intelligent and human-centered future of financial services. A veteran credit-union technology executive, he brings more than two decades of experience across CTO, Chief Digital Officer and CISO roles. Earlier in his career, Jason helped create frictionless digital and self-service experiences that connected credit-union systems directly to members and produced measurable adoption. Today, he leads ShiftMate’s strategy across AI, data, interoperability and product innovation, helping financial institutions turn fragmented information into timely action. ShiftMate earned first place at the 2025 OpenFinity FDX API Innovation Event, and Jason contributes to industry conversations on AI readiness, open finance and API-driven transformation.
