Wayne Miller is Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer at the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), where he leads national innovation strategy to help community banks compete, grow, and better serve customers. He focuses on connecting banks with fintech partners to deliver practical, revenue-generating solutions across digital banking, payments, risk, data, and AI.
With more than 40 years of experience spanning financial services, fintech, healthcare, and entrepreneurship, Wayne brings a blend of startup and Fortune 100 leadership. He oversees ICBA’s innovation platform, including the ThinkTECH Accelerator and industry partnerships that support technology adoption.
Previously, he served as Managing Director of The Venture Center, growing entrepreneurial programming with an emphasis on fintech for FIS and ICBA, and held CEO and senior leadership roles across multiple industries. Wayne is also a BankTech Ventures general partner, board advisor, educator, and frequent speaker on innovation in community banking.
