Klaus Weinberger is a biochemist with more than 30 years of experience in molecular biology, virology, omics technologies, and biomarker discovery. He obtained his PhD from the WHO Reference Center for Viral Hepatitis at the University of Regensburg Medical School and is a serial entrepreneur with particular expertise in translational research. He has a track record of successful scientific leadership, product developments and market launches in bioanalytics, in vitro diagnostics, and vaccines. In addition to various board roles and teaching appointments, Klaus is currently serving as the CEO of Health Hub Tirol and Metaron Diagnostics and as Managing Partner at Weinberger & Weinberger Life Sciences Consulting.
