R&D Qualifying Criteria
Biotech, Pharma, Drug Delivery, Diagnostic, Medical Device companies actively developing products, and platform companies supporting drug discovery and development for which they own the IP.

Investor Qualifying Criteria
Investment firms with an existing portfolio or actively investing or seeking investment opportunities in life science companies.

Academic
Institutes, academic spinoffs, tech transfer officers and other academic researchers and innovators.

Government
Government departments and organizations, and registered non-profit organizations.

This pass is for companies that provide services to the life sciences industry. Please see criteria below:

Companies doing business as a CRO, CMO, CDMO or providing solutions and/or professional services and consultants, must register under this rate.

Enrich your participation and maximize your success with an exhibit space on-site or event sponsorship.

Showcase your company in an in-person presentation during BIO-Europe, November 3–5, 2025 or digital presentation that will be available to all registered attendees up to three weeks before the event to engage with and request one-to-one meetings.

Startup companies are invited to apply to pitch their company at the Startup Spotlight at BIO-Europe. This exciting competition offers innovative entrepreneurs an affordable opportunity to engage with top-tier investors and other important players in the biotech industry to take their business to the next level.

Selected companies will have the opportunity to make a 4-minute pitch and participate in a live feedback session with a jury of leading investors, pharma dealmakers, and biotech business key opinion leaders who will evaluate the pitches and select the winner onsite.

Applications can be submitted by companies that meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Company created in the past three years, or innovation incubated within a company for a maximum of three years
• Developing new therapeutic solutions, technology and digital platforms
• Aggregate funding of €10 million or less
• Company with less than 25 employees

This pass allows two members of your company to attend the event in Vienna for the price of one (1) registration. Delegates must be part of the same organization and email addresses must match the company/institution domain provided during registration.

To qualify for this offer, the company must meet the following criteria:

• Be pre-revenue  

• Be developing therapeutics or diagnostics for which the young company owns the intellectual property; or own the IP for a platform technology used for drug design or discovery

• OR researcher at a university, hospital, research institute, or government entity

To qualify for this reduced rate, Young Innovator companies must meet the following criteria:

• Pre-revenue
• 3 years old or younger
• 10 or fewer employees
• Developing therapeutics or diagnostics for which the young company owns the intellectual property; or owning the IP for a platform technology used for drug design or discovery.

Young Innovator company rates and deadlines:

• €795 July 25, 2025
• €995 September 12, 2025
• €1195 October 27, 2025

This offer is limited to one attendee per company. Our team will review your request and notify you of the decision within five business days. If approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email along with a VIP code to register at the discounted rate.

The Digital Pass grants you access to BIO-Europe’s digital partnering days from November 11–12, 2025, as well as on-demand access to an extensive library of event content. This includes company presentations, panel discussions, and company showcases.

Please note this is a digital only pass and does not include access to the in-person event.

Journalists writing for industry-specific news/publishing organizations are welcome to attend BIO-Europe free of charge provided the terms of our press policy are satisfied.

In order to qualify you must meet all the below criteria:

• Evidence that you are affiliated with a nationally or regionally recognized press outlet.
• Be able to prove that you are a journalist or editor with an internationally recognized press card or provide copies of your work in recognized publications, with your name appearing as writer or editor, for industry-specific news/publishing organizations.
• An editorial title (titles accepted: editor-in-chief, senior editor, executive editor, associate editor, technology editor, managing editor, editor, staff writer, reporter, columnist, photographer).

Your request will be evaluated and you will be notified within five working days after submission of your request. Please note that filling in this form does not guarantee that a complimentary Press registration will be granted.
