Dr. Esraa El-Saeed Ibrahim Ammar is a distinguished Egyptian researcher specializing in plantecology and environmental sciences. She currently serves as a Postdoctoral Fellow at JiangsuUniversity, China, until January 2026, while maintaining her position as a Lecturer at TantaUniversity, Egypt, where she has been a member of the faculty since 2011.Dr. Ammar earned her PhD through a joint supervision program between Tanta University andAarhus University, Denmark, specializing in garden plant diversity and the impacts of climatechange. Her practical expertise is underscored by over 300 field expeditions and theestablishment of a herbarium housing more than 2,000 botanical specimens.Her academic record is prolific, featuring 45 papers published in SCI-indexed journals, six bookchapters, and the supervision of 70 scientific peer reviews. Furthermore, she has participatedin over 40 international conferences. Dr. Ammar currently leads an international researchgroup focused on food waste management, bio-fertilization, biodiversity, and soil science,with a strategic vision to integrate these fields using Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learningtechnologies.
