Peter Jens started as an industrial architect, designing and building factories worldwide before moving into strategy consulting for energy, financial, and FMCG organisations. At 50 he pivoted into agriculture, chairing the Dutch organic sector and serving as Global Alliance Director at Koppert Biologicals, where he built (and still builds-) alliances with stakeholders across the food and agri‑value chain. In 2023 he co‑founded a venture developing affordable, resilient growing systems based on dual functions of cell‑free nucleic acids, and advises leadership teams on how to anticipate and navigate "Black Swan" shocks, "Grey Rhino" risks, and other systemic "Perfect Storms."

Peter (& Co) develop on-farm systems enabling farmers become more self‑supporting and resilient by producing their own biostimulants and biocontrol products. He now works mainly in the Global South.
