Fabrizio brings deep expertise in clinical research and years of experience supporting teams with clinical development, medical affairs, and with moving from research to practical application of healthcare solutions. As Angelini Ventures Medical Director, Fabrizio plays a key role in providing medical expertise and strategic direction to its team and its portfolio of companies.

Prior to joining Angelini Ventures, Fabrizio was Global Medical Affairs Director Specialty Care at Angelini Pharma. Fabrizio has a long track record in clinical research and as a practicing physician. He has worked and led successful programs at Angelini Industries and Abbott Labs.

Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, Fabrizio worked as a psychiatrist at San Rafaele hospital, one of Europe’s leading care and research centers. Fabrizio graduated in Medicine and then completed his residency program in Psychiatry at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, Italy. The main scientific interests in his career have been Mood Disorders, Schizophrenia and Neurodevelopmental Disorders; he’s been involved in several programs in epilepsy and movement disorders.

Fabrizio holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rome with a residency in psychiatry.
