Gergely brings 20 years of financing experience spanning corporate structured finance and venture debt. In his role as Senior Investment Officer on the EIB’s venture debt team he focuses on the life science sector. Over the course of the past eight years he has been a major contributor in building EIB’s venture debt franchise. Prior to joining the EIB Gergely spent over a decade in various roles within corporate and investment banking at UniCredit. He holds a Master’s degree from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration (currently known as Corvinus University).
