Miha Stajdohar is CTO and co-founder of Genialis, redefining precision oncology with AI and RNA. He is driven by advancing healthcare to deliver the best outcomes for patients, their families, and communities. With nearly 20 years in AI and biomedical research, Miha has published in the fields of artificial intelligence, statistics, and bioinformatics. He led the development of an FDA-accepted AI-based biomarker, bringing the promise of precision medicine to clinical practice. Beyond Genialis, Miha co-developed Orange, an open-source data mining toolkit, and Resolwe, a scalable bioinformatics engine. He earned his PhD in computer science from the University of Ljubljana, specializing in data integration and AI, followed by postdoctoral research at Baylor College of Medicine. In his free time, Miha finds inspiration in mountain adventures and sailing the Adriatic.
