Anupam Singhal manages the development of novel biotech products for accelerating the discovery and development of antibody therapeutics at Berkeley Lights.

Anupam earned his PhD from the University of British Columbia and has over 15 years of life sciences experience at Stanford University, the University of Toronto and UBC. He holds patents for molecular disease diagnosis, antibody discovery, and cell line generation for biologics production. His patents have been commercially licensed by multiple companies, and also form the foundational IP for a biotech company based in Vancouver, BC. At Berkeley Lights, Anupam previously held roles as a Senior Applications Development Engineer, Field Applications Scientist and UK/EU Account Manager.

Anupam's academic research has been cited over 600 times and spans the areas of nanotechnology (quantum dots), microfluidics, single-cell analysis, genomics, therapeutic antibody discovery and cell-line development.
