Kristi joined Genentech in late 2011 to develop the Green BioPharma program within Environment, Health and Safety (EHS). She also leads the Biopharma Focus Group as part of the American Chemical Society Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable which has defined industry-standard environmental metrics and best practices for biopharma production. She has published several articles and book chapters on the implementation of green chemistry principles in biopharma. Kristi has a PhD in chemistry from the University of Washington and a BS in biochemistry and mathematics from the University of Southern Mississippi.
