Bhanu Chandra Mulukutla is currently an Associate Research Fellow in Bioprocess R&D organization at Pfizer. His group at Pfizer works on developing cell culture & IVT processes for active portfolio projects. His group also works on contriving newer technologies to improve cell culture process performance, specifically through optimization of cellular metabolism using process or metabolic engineering approaches. More recently, his group has been developing process models for design and predictive control of bioprocesses with focus on mechanistic modeling of cellular metabolism to accurately predict metabolic states in cell culture processes. He has published 17 articles and has multiple granted patents and patent applications.
