Cécile Brocard, a distinguished biochemist, and molecular cell biologist, holds a PhD from the University of Vienna. She presently serves as the Director of Downstream Development in the Development Operations department at Boehringer Ingelheim Regional Center Vienna. In this capacity, she leads a team dedicated to the development of downstream processes for a variety of recombinant proteins expressed in microbial systems. This work plays a critical role in supplying clinical trials and overseeing tech transfers. Cécile's leadership extends to driving technology programs and strategic initiatives within the organization. As an active speaker at international conferences, she also aims to actively contribute to the global advancement of biotechnology.
