Profile

Chandra D. Williams is the Director of Site Affairs at Pfizer- Kendall Square. In this role, she coordinates the strategy and implementation for colleague engagement, site operations, external outreach, and internal communications.

Chandra received her Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Animal Science from North Carolina A&T State University, her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, is board certified by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM) and holds the designation of Certified Professional in IACUC Administration (CPIA).

Prior to joining Pfizer, Chandra served as the University Veterinarian/Vivarium Director and Adjunct Biology Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is a strong advocate for STEM education with an emphasis on increasing the representation of women and underrepresented minorities in STEM. She has served as advisor for the Pre-Veterinary Club and Black Students in Science at UNC Charlotte, served on the Board of Trustees for the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association (APVMA) and American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) Foundation. She holds active membership and leadership roles in several professional organizations. At Pfizer, she serves as Co-Lead for the Global Black Community, and previously served as Co-Lead for the Seeds Outreach Pillar on the Comparative Medicine/Drug Safety Research and Development Equity Advisory Board and works closely with Pfizer’s People Experience Diversity, Equity and Inclusion colleagues.

In her spare time, she likes to garden, travel, and listen to live music.
