Dana received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University, followed obtaining her Masters of Sciences in Animal Sciences with a focus on Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Florida. She entered the biotech industry working for Charles Rivers Labs - Biologics division in Viral Clearance for 8 years before entering the position of Manager of Viral Safety for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals 3 years ago, where she oversees their viral safety strategy and oversees testing strategies for gene therapy intermediates.
