David Wood is currently a professor of Chemical Engineering at Ohio State University and is a scientific co-founder at Protein Capture Science. David completed a double major in Biology and Chemical Engineering at Caltech, and then worked at Amgen on the Neupogen process in the early 1990’s. He completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and worked briefly at Bristol Meyers Squibb before starting his career in academia at Princeton University. Over the past 25 years he has developed a self-removing tag technology with the goal of creating a disruptive downstream processing platform for the biopharma industry.
