Gakuro Harada is a Senior Scientist/Application Expert in the Medical Device Business Division of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., which manufactures the Cell Handler™, a device that combines cell imaging analysis with cell picking and transferring technologies. He has a Ph. D in Life Sciences from Kyushu University (Fukuoka, Japan,) where he explored the effects of food compositions on human and animal cells, genetic effects of longevity genes (Sirtuin) on age-related diseases, and biological responses through pharmacokinetic studies.
