Hyo-Young Jeong is a Senior Scientist in the Process Cell Sciences group in Biologics Process R&D at Merck. Currently, her work focuses on cell line development, cell banking, cell bank characterization and supporting global regulatory filings for biologics. Prior to joining Merck, she served as a Senior Scientist and group leader at Firmenich. In this role, she was responsible for engineering a GPCR expression platform that senses and responds to odorants used for fragrance and flavor. She holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Jeonbuk National University in South Korea.
