Jimmy Zawada is an Associate Director Process Science at Sutro Biopharma.  Jimmy has spent his career developing cell-free protein synthesis for biopharmaceutical production.  He earned his Ph.D. at Stanford University in Jim Swartz’s lab where he contributed to the early work enabling industrial scale cell-free extract production.  For the past 15+ years, Jimmy has worked with the Sutro Biopharma team on extract production and cell-free protein synthesis scale-up.  He has helped bring multiple products made in cell-free to clinical studies in oncology.
