Jindou ShiPhD Student at GSK Center for Optical Molecular Imaging, UIUCSpeaker
Profile
Jindou Shi is a final-year Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, advised by Prof. Stephen A. Boppart. He is affiliated with the GlaxoSmithKline Center for Optical Molecular Imaging and the Biophotonics Imaging Lab. His research lies at the intersection of biophotonics and artificial intelligence, focusing on label-efficient deep learning for optical signature discovery. He develops multimodal imaging and machine learning approaches to study cancer biomarkers, drug distribution, toxicity, efficacy, uptake kinetics, and biopharmaceutical cell line development using label-free autofluorescence and multiharmonic microscopy.
