Kartik leads biologics manufacturing process and analytical development and global MSAT/technical operations functions in support of AbbVie's commercial, clinical and contract manufacturing product portfolios. Kartik’s team supports a portfolio of 30+ assets in biologics pipeline across all therapeutic areas from pre-clinical to commercial launch and life-cycle management. His key contributions include Humira process improvement innovation, Skyrizi approval, launch and life-cycle management, rapidly accelerating the biologics pipeline across all therapeutic areas, and globally supporting commercial launch/technical support of 7 approved biologics. He is deeply driven by a commitment to enable accelerated launch of new therapeutics, and to continue to build the scientific tools and talent to build the deep knowledge that will drive this agility. Kartik has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biochemical Engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and Executive Business Education from Stanford Graduate School of Business
