Lorraine earned her MS degree in chemical engineering from Columbia University. In her career, her scope of work in biopharma has ranged from supply chain to instrument validation for continuous downstream bioprocessing, and process development in fed-batch upstream bioprocessing. Prior to AstraZeneca, she worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb and Merck. She currently works in technology development and automation and process development and optimization on perfusion bioreactors at AstraZeneca.
