Marc Schrader is a Senior Scientist at AbbVie and has over 21 years of experience in the biotechnology and bioprocessing industry. He has contributed to the development, launch, and optimization of dozens of biologics processes, the most well-known of which is Humira. He has successfully performed many tech transfers and scale-ups. Throughout his career he has resolved numerous manufacturing challenges, which have improved or assured product quality and have improved efficiency and yield. He has also evaluated a variety of bioprocessing technologies. Marc received a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Maine and a master's degree in biotechnology and bioprocessing from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
