He brings over 30 years of experience in Research & Development, Process Development and Manufacturing. Before joining Bora Biologics, Miguel held various leadership positions in the biopharma services industry, including General Manager and Director of Operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Site Head and Director of MSAT at Catalent, Director of Manufacturing at ATCC, and Director of Operations at Precision for Medicine. He has made significant contributions to the fields of cell & gene therapy and biologics, employing innovative analytical methods, upstream and downstream technologies for the production and purification of biopharmaceuticals. His work also resulted in the discovery of VEGFR2/KDR, a pivotal target in cancer therapy. Miguel’s expertise spans process optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer, reflected in his impressive portfolio of 9 US patents and multiple publications. Throughout his career, Miguel has played a key role in multiple IND submissions and commercial product launches, assisting customers in bringing advanced therapies to market.
