He has made significant contributions to the fields of cell & gene therapy and biologics, employing innovative analytical methods, upstream and downstream technologies for the production and purification of biopharmaceuticals. His work also resulted in the discovery of VEGFR2/KDR, a pivotal target in cancer therapy. Miguel’s expertise spans process optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer, reflected in his impressive portfolio of 9 US patents and multiple publications.
