Shawn Fitzgibbons has worked in the mass spectrometry field for more than 25 years, where he has focused on the characterization of biotherapeutics. He joined Catalent, Kansas City, Missouri, in 2002, and since then has grown his career with increasing levels of responsibility in biologics analytical testing. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, and simultaneously completed a bachelor’s in Chemistry from Benedictine College, Atchison. While working as a Chemical Engineer, Fitzgibbons earned a master’s in chemistry from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
