Steven Cramer, Ph.D.Institute Professor, Isermann Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic InstituteSpeaker
Profile
Steve Cramer is an Institute Professor at RPI whose research employs biophysics, simulations, novel separation systems and processes, expedited process development, gene therapy and big data modeling to improve the state of the art of downstream bioprocessing. Cramer is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and is a fellow of AAAS, AIChE, ACS and AIMBE. His awards include ACS National Separations Award, the ACS BIOT Award in the Recovery of Biological Products, the Gaden award from Biotech. and Bioeng., and RPI’s Distinguished Faculty Award. He has 246 publications, and the 60 Ph.D. graduates are playing key leadership roles at most of the major biopharmaceutical and bioseparations companies worldwide as well as academia.
