Thomas Toupy is a Scientist in the Advanced Processing team within the Synthetic Molecule Process Development group at Takeda. Before joining Takeda, he worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT under the supervision of Prof. Allan S. Myerson on the development of advanced process control strategies for multistep continuous manufacturing processes. Thomas earned his Ph.D in synthetic organic chemistry from the University of Liege in Belgium under the supervision of Prof. Jean-Christophe Monbaliu, and specialized in the preparation of small molecule APIs and bio(macro)molecules under flow conditions.
