Wei Zhang is currently Director of Analytical Development and CMC lead in Ultragenyx Gene Therapy. At Ultragenyx, Wei leads the development of analytical methods, product characterization, and the analytical automation lab. Wei is currently leading an early-stage CMC team devoted to developing AAV gene therapy products for Alzheimer's patients. Prior to Ultragenyx, Wei was an analytical scientist at Homology Medicines and Avitide Inc. Wei has extensive academic training in genomics and genetics.
