Yu-Tsan (Richard) Liu is a project lead and Sr. scientist in UCB Pharma’s Gene therapy Process Sciences. Prior to joining UCB Pharma, he has worked in in WuXi Biologics in China and several biopharma companies in Taiwan leading several NMPA/FDA IND-enabling biologics downstream process development / Tox scale-up projects and late-stage BLA-enabling biologics downstream projects with GSK, MSD, Merck and several Chinese companies. He has more than 15 years of experience in the downstream development/tech transfer/scale-up/analytics/QC/QA and cell biology research.
