Profile

Chemical Engineer, holding a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the University of Castilla-la Mancha (UCLM, Spain) for the production of veterinary vaccines to obtain antigens from Precision Fermentation, being an enthusiastic professional in the field of bioprocesses and biotechnology. Over the past 12 years, after completing my PhD thesis, I have been working as the Technical Director of a fermentation plant for the production of plant biostimulants, as well as being the head of the bioprocesses department focused on the development of processes and new biostimulant formulations. Throughout these roles, I have led process development from laboratory scale to pilot scale, and through to large-scale production of precision fermentation processes. After my role as Technical Director, I became the Director of the Bioprocess Pilot Plant at Bionet, providing services to clients in the biotechnology sector, particularly in projects involving precision fermentation processes. I continued working with clients in the agricultural sector as well as those in the pharma, cosmetics, and food industries. In Bionet's bioprocess pilot plant (1) we test our technologies and developments from our Technology Development Department, including technologies from third parties, (2) we create content for publications and knowledge material for the Marketing Department, and (3) we offer services to clients for proof-of-concept trials, experiments to obtain scaling parameters and training in the field of the precision fermentation
