Rob Clayton is based in Loveland Colorado and holds the position of Senior Vice President, Retail North America for Nutrien Ag Solutions. The position includes responsibility for safety, P&L performance, marketing, employee attraction and retention and all other aspects of business operations. Rob moved to the US in 2022 having previously held the position of VP and Managing Director of Nutrien Ag Solutions Australia for the past 5 years. Rob now leads the premier Agribusiness in North America (Nutrien Ag Solutions) with over 14,000 employees and 16 billion revenues.Originally from a wheat, sheep and beef farming background in Australia, Rob holds strong ties to the agriculture industry across both the supply and demand channels.Rob has spent the last 22 years of his career in the Nutrien Retail business having held many senior roles across varied geographies and responsibilities. Prior to joining Nutrien Ag Solutions he was a partner in a mid-sized logistics firm and prior to that headed up a corporate crop production farming business.Rob studied at the University of Melbourne and completed an MBA at Melbourne University School of Business.His passion is and always has been agriculture and he works hard every day to inspire his team to improve the profitability and sustainability of the farmer.
