David Ausländer completed his PhD in 2014 at ETH Zürich in Switzerland, where he studied Mammalian Synthetic Biology. He joined Novartis in 2017, where he leads a global team in the Biologics Research Center focusing on Manufacturing Cell Line Development. His group develops and applies innovative gene- and cell line engineering solutions to enhance quality and productivity of manufacturing cell lines producing New Biologics Entities and Viral Vectors for Cell and Gene Therapies.
