Dietmar studied chemistry at the University of Jena and received his doctorate in biochemistry and biophysics, followed by various positions in industry, in which he worked on protein purification as well as setting up a laboratory to isolate peripheral stem cells from human blood. Dietmar is currently working as “Head of Analytical Development” at Wacker Biotech GmbH, Jena and focuses on the development, qualification and transfer of analytical methods for protein characterization.
