Julian is a biotechnologist trained in Mannheim, Germany, and Singapore. He has over 15 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Throughout his career, he has held various roles in early phase development and Manufacturing Science and Technology. His expertise lies in developing processes for therapeutic proteins and antibody-drug conjugates, as well as implementing these processes in commercial manufacturing plants. Currently, at Novartis, he serves as the Senior Expert Science & Technology, leading late phase development projects and conducting process characterization for new biological entities. Julian's work focuses on developing connected and continuous bioprocesses, and advancing the Novartis Biofuture platform
