Finished degree (BSc Hons) from Leeds University in 1999 and got my first job in Biotech at Avidex in 2001 working as a development scientist producing T-Cell receptors and HLA molecules from E Coli. After 4 years there I moved to Lonza working as a DSP purification scientist, mainly purifying antibodies from mammalian feedstreams before moving to UCB where I have spent the last 17 years. In that time I have worked on Cimzia™, and developed and supported the DSP of BimZelX from Tox through to Commercial launch.
