Rui Oliveira is currently Full Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University Lisbon. He is the head of the Systems Biology and Engineering lab and the head of the integrative research lab in Bio-Chemical Process Engineering (BCPE), LAQV, a consortium of Portuguese universities. His main research areas are Hybrid modeling and Physics Informed Machine Learning, Industry 4.0/5.0, Development of digital platforms for Biopharma, In silico culture media design (Levacells.com), theoretical development of hybrid modelling methods (HPYBpy.com).
