Wolfgang Sommeregger is co-founder of the company QUBICON AG which focuses on software for advanced bioprocess monitoring and model-based process control. He obtained a degree in biotechnology, as well as a PhD as part of the doctoral program “Biomolecular Technology of Proteins (BioToP)” from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). During his doctoral studies and his former professional career, he mainly focused on the improvement of cell culture bioprocesses, their monitoring and control.
