Al-Karim Khimji is the CEO and Co-founder of Propra. Al-Karim brings his years of entrepreneurial and real estate experience, combined with his background in management consulting and private equity. His real estate perspective spans over two decades including, development, operations and asset management of a mid-scale hotel portfolio and managing his own portfolio of rental properties. His mission at Propra is to use technology to remove the administrative burden of rental operations. Previously, Al-Karim worked in management consulting at McKinsey & Company, and in private equity in a variety of countries. In these roles, he focused on growth strategy, corporate finance and organization-wide transformations spanning industries including real estate, technology, infrastructure, and basic materials.
